Mr Thompson has over 20 years experience in the mineral industry, and is the founder and Managing Director of ASX-listed Talga Resources Ltd.  Talga owns the world’s highest grade mineral resources of graphite, located in Sweden, and is developing a novel and large volume process to produce graphene and micrographite.  Pilot test processing underway at the Talga facility in Rudolstadt, Germany.

 He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, the Society of Economic Geologists, and is Guest Professor of Mineral Exploration Technology at Chengdu University of Technology and  Southwest University of Science and Technology in China.
